Glycerinated macerates, or Gemmotherapy Extracts, originated in the 1950s from the research of Dr. Pol Henry of Brussels, who was the first to clinically test plant extracts obtained from highly metabolically active embryonic plant tissues (meristematic tissues), such as buds, young shoots and rootlets. Erbamea offers 16 certified organic Gemmotherapy Extracts in 50 ml bottles, made from fresh plants harvested mainly in the Apennines between Umbria, Marche, Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna.
