Juniper Essential Oil

Juniper is an evergreen shrub belonging to the Cupressaceae family, widespread in the mountainous and hilly areas of Europe and Asia. Its small galbuli, similar to berries and characterized by an intense, balsamic aroma, are used to obtain an essential oil with a fresh, woody and spicy fragrance by steam distillation. Juniper essential oil supports urinary tract function and the drainage of body fluids. Food supplements should not be considered as substitutes for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
