The first part of the volume lists ailments, followed by approximately 4,500 recipes for their treatment. This is followed by a systematic classification of 312 medicinal herbs according to their properties, accompanied by black-and-white illustrations.
The third part is devoted to the preparation of oils, syrups and tinctures.
